A beautiful, deep, brilliant ruby colour. A generous nose with aromas of ripe red fruit and delicate woody notes. On the palate, the Merlot tannins provide ample body, while the Cabernet Franc contributes finesse and aromatic persistence. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon from old vines on the Adèle hillside, aged in oak barrels for eighteen months.
Excellent with dishes in sauce, roasted meat dishes (duck in particular), cheese and chocolate desserts.
